I can't count how many times this exact scenario has happened to me. And countless similar ones wherein the cost of something is delayed just long enough to escape the hands of urgency. I don't care how they justify it, this is dark design at best, if not blatantly predatory.

I'm honestly sick of feeling like a marketing professional is hiding behind a lamp post everywhere I go.
