AITAH for telling my husband his financial contribution feels more like an allowance than a partnership?

I (F) earn 120k a month, while my husband makes 30k. Out of that, he gives me 15k for household expenses. The issue? The vast majority of our family’s financial burden falls on me. We have four kids, and I cover almost everything—rent, groceries, school fees, emergencies—while he keeps the rest of his income for himself.

I brought this up, saying it doesn’t feel like we’re sharing responsibilities fairly. He got defensive, saying he does contribute and that I make way more, so it makes sense that I handle most expenses. I get that our incomes aren’t equal, but shouldn’t the effort be proportional? I don’t mind earning more, but it feels like I have a dependent rather than a partner.

AITAH for feeling resentful?
