Asus ProArt PA602 Front Fan Issue – Traktor-Like Noise After 1.5 Months
Hi Reddit,
I purchased the Asus ProArt PA602 case on December 2, 2024, and I’ve been extremely happy with its performance until recently. It was incredibly quiet, and the cooling was more than sufficient for my needs.
However, for the past few days, I’ve been dealing with a major issue involving the top front fan:
- Out of nowhere, the fan starts making a loud tractor-like noise. It sounds as if something is stuck in the fan.
- The only way I’ve found to temporarily fix the issue is to remove the front panel, hold the fan by its center, and move it back and forth until the noise stops. Otherwise, the problem persists.
I’m disappointed that a brand like Asus would have such a problem with their fans. To make matters worse, I couldn’t find a replacement fan to buy anywhere, even if I wanted to.
A few details about my situation:
- I live in Turkey and purchased the case from Amazon Turkey.
- When I reached out to Amazon, they advised me to contact Asus directly. I’ve already sent a message to Asus, but I haven’t received a response yet.
- I’m worried they’ll dismiss this as user error, even though I’ve taken great care of the case. It hasn’t been moved, bumped, or damaged in any way. It’s been working perfectly fine for the past 1.5 months without any issues.
My question is:
- Do you think this issue would be covered under warranty?
- Has anyone else experienced something similar with Asus cases or fans?
Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Edit: I reported the video above to Asus support via email, and they asked for my case's serial number. I sent both the serial number and the invoice. After that, they requested my address details and sent a replacement fan. I have now installed the new fan, and the problem seems to be resolved. Thanks to everyone.
Edit 2 (21.03.2025): Their new fan started to fail again ! Swapped to Noctua NF-A20, no issues so far! Will talk with ASUS support again.
