Is being a CPA worth it?

All I ever want is stability, good health insurance and a decent middle-upper class income in my life. That's it.

In my late 20's thinking about going back to school and getting my Accounting Degree and CPA License (been serving/bartending for years making ~$35-$40/hr [which is amazing I know])

But like... at the end of the 4 years. Would you guys say it's worth it? Is your life better and more stable now? Working restaurants is just not it for me anymore.
