Organizing

Hey guys I know there have been some protests going on.....I keep seeing France telling us to strike and march till we get what we want but the French get out there daily and don't stop.....what can be done to better organize, to better involve people or support people so they can be involved? What's holding people back? Is anyone aware of generalstrikeus.com who's looking for 11million people to sign up to strike?
