This is why people are still coming to Kumbh
So I was reading an article on HT about some Allahabad redditor complaining about Kumbh visitors coming to the city.
Found it absolutely hilarious that his question gets answered by an ad right under it.
People didn't discover Kumbh this year, there's an unprecedented media blitzkrieg around the Kumbh. It's like there's some kind of mission to get the max number of people there.
I am from Delhi and I have been seeing ads about the Mahakumbh in print, online and on billboards for the past 3 months.
I don't know if it's coordinated or incidental but I've seen the religious types of folks encouraging people to just go and think about accomodation and other necessities later.
Anyways, just thought I would share this with you folks cause even my relatives in Allahabad seem puzzled over this influx of 'tourists'.
