AITA for asking my flatmate to tidy

I live with a really messy flatmate, we have a kitchen cleaning rota, and I did a deep clean of the kitchen on my week. Less than 4 hours after, their stuff was piled up on the drying rack, and they had not cleaned the sides down after cooking. I messaged and asked them if they could clear this, and they had a go at me, and are now refusing to speak to me. This isnt the first time ive asked, but every time i have they have snapped at me and gotten angry.

Am i the asshole? i pay rent and i dont think its unreasonable for me to want to live in a house that is clean. But they think that im being unreasonable
