EKTACHROME BULK

Everyday i see more labs selling their own versions of kodak vision 3 200t, 250d, 500 etc. But why anybody is selling ektahcrome in bulk, i know it can be purchased in rolls of 400ft, i dont bulk my own cause i dont have time but if labs are doing why not start selling slide film again?
