M3 Hub - Worth Getting?

I’ve been really interested in the Aqara M3, I currently have a few Aqara devices including the G3 Camera, I’m now looking at expanding with the M3.

However I’ve seen a lot of negative feedback with the Hub following its initial release. I’m hoping to gauge what the general consensus is now with the device, and whether it’s worth getting. For reference I’m using HomeKit predominantly, so I’m keen on using it for other brands not natively HomeKit supported (eg Tuya)
