Do you think China will ever legalise same sex marriage? If so, when?

As a Gay westerner speaking to Chinese people the gist I’ve got is that most Chinese don’t mind about someone’s sexuality, as long as they’re not a family member. I presume this has something to do with Confucianism and the desire to pass down the family line.

I know China doesn’t have the same Abrahamic religion inspired bias against Homosexuality like the West did until relatively recently, but I wonder if China is too conservative to ever legalise same sex marriage.
