Best way to wire new wall sconces
Hello electricians!
Looking for advice on some lighting installation I'm doing at my home. We are doing some work in our master br to convert the space into a nursery and bedroom, and before putting up the beadboard panels, I want to be sure any new electrical work is completed. I've already added two new outlets, and next I want to add wall mounted bedside lamps. I have the sconces and I know where I want to put them. There is an active outlet on this wall in the center between where the lights will go. The sconces have pull chains on them, so there does not need to be a primary wall switch.
I'm trying to get an idea for how I should wire this, as most diagrams and demos I've come across utilize a wall switch. My thought is to Daisy chain off of the existing outlet, go straight up and then split left and right to the light fixtures, where I'll connect to the fixture and the pull chain switches. Is this right? Just odd that I can't find an example online. Can I run one wire from the outlet and connect both lights, or does each need there own source wire from the outlet?
Thanks!
