Teachers who get mad if a student drinks water without their permission. What's your problem?

What's your fkin problem? How is someone drinking water without your permission indiscipline?

I remember getting scolded by my hindi teacher in class 10th for drinking water without her permission, coz according to her, I disturbed her flow of teaching by drinking water.

At that time, I must have been immature, but now that I'm 20, It still doesn't make any sense to me.
