BBQ charcoal recommendation

Switched to a real BBQ after using a gas one for a good while.
Last time I remember using charcoal it took an age to light and didn't last very long, with the good weather and a new bbq I plan on using a fair bit of charcoal over the next few weeks, whats your go to charcoal ?
