Soon to be Local: Looking for veteran Seattleite Advice HELP

I'm an engineer that got a job offer in Seattle @ blue origin. (I know, I know, it's a job okay) paying decently well at near around $90,000 (not bragging just info for budget). I have a service dog & a girlfriend. I need advice on apartments (preferably 2 beds >1000sqft), neighborhoods (what's the good side of town), what to look out for, cool things to do (we're (my dog an I) outdoorsy), and I'm very much so welcoming any pro tips anyone can give about anything worth knowing.
