Mephisto customer service is awful

UPDATE: they made it right as I thought they would. I still wish they weren’t dismissive at first, but appreciated them making it right.

I’m a newer grower. Ordered my first Mephisto seeds two weeks ago; a “single” pack of Double Grape (phrased as “1 (+1)”).

Anyway, package arrives. Open it up. The little vial inside the seed pack only had one seed…I figured I made a mistake or misunderstood the “1 (+1)” so I made a thread on r/MephHeads asking for clarification.

Long story short, I reach out to Meph customer service. All they reply is “yeah, you should have received two seeds” - no apology or offer for a resolution or anything of the sort…so I replied and asked for it to be replaced, and if not, at least free shipping for my next order so that I can replace it (out of my own pocket).

They reply again, “we’re going to reach out to the US manager as this is unusual”. Basically just dismissing and accusing me of being dishonest over a $10 item lol.

I see a fair bit of Meph poor customer service posts and wanted to make another to remind people; their genetics might be great. But their CS leaves something to be desired. I guess when you’re the best you don’t have to treat customers well. They were deleting my posts from their subreddit so I figured I’d post here.
