Is YAGP ruining artistry?

I’ve been noticing recently that studios seem more interested in producing competition-winning machines instead of artists. Don’t get me wrong, these dancers have gorgeous technique and can do tricks for days, but they almost seem like carbon copies of each other.

Has anyone else noticed this or am I crazy
