New Tongue "Buzzing" or twitching at night - need reassurance
My story's a bit different from most here. I started with severe breathing issues and hypopnea at night (weak breathing), resulting in waking up with tingling limbs. I then noticed very high blood pressure (likely related to hypopnea) and exposed veins in hands and feet. Checked lungs, checked heart, no signs of issues at either.
I then started to twitch on these extremities, at first a little. Checked for diabetes and related extremity damage. No sign of either. Then, it upgraded to full twitching, and I noticed my legs and hands looked significantly "thinner"/weaker than in older pictures. I then started having severe issues swallowing and general weakness. An EMG revealed some issueso n my right thigh, but clean otherwise.
Nevertheless I prepared for the worst.... and it didnt come. Over the course of a month, my strength recovered as I went to the gym, my breathing improved, I managed to sleep well again. This was January. I relaxed and convinced myself whatever it was, it was a temporary thing.
... and then it got worse.
In February, I started having widespread twitching (true fasciculations) on my legs. They pop everywhere, are visible, and kept me awake. I wanted another EMG, but my doctor said it was likely BFS and to wait. I said alright. I got used to the twitches. I could live with this. I also had a tongue scalloped on one side, but didn't care.
... now my tongue is buzzing. The whole night. It's not quite a twitch, although I can see twitching in my tongue at rest if I wait. But this is more like a constant "buzz" on the right side of my tongue, the entire night, coupled with a sensitivity to my pulse on my tongue that feels like my entire tongue is shaking with every heartbeat. I can't sleep. It's there the whole day, but night is the worst.
I just... I can't do this. I feel like i'm going insane.
