First attempt at macarons. Thanks to all the fails here!

My kids love macarons, so I gave it a shot to save myself $272748872. I did a ton of studying and watched all the videos before trying. I thought for sure I had overwhipped my meringue. My ribbons did not look like the ones in the vids, so still room to improve obvi. Thanks to everyone here for sharing their tips and epic fails!

These are vanilla shells with salted caramel buttercream (no food coloring). Chef's kiss, 11 out of 10.
