Saving private Meerna.
So after many attempts of trying to save that little gnome I finally found one!
The way you can keep her alive is by going to the forge area where the giant piece of ore is by the lava. From that cliff you can misty step up onto the platform behind where Nere is trapped. By unlocking the large double door and passing through the poison cloud you can then kill nere while he’s still trapped. Wicky unfortunately will already be deceased, but meerna and beldron will still be alive. Now even after all that trouble however, meerna cannot be spoken to and beldron will talk about her and Wicky as if they both passed away. Something of note is that meerna’s brother won’t comment on her being tossed by nere, but instead will tell you to protect his sister and that she’s still trapped in there.
