I am at my wit’s end with Capital One not verifying Apple Pay

I received a new debit card connected to my 360 checking account. I am trying to verify it on Apple Pay, and the app keeps crashing when I get to where I have to put in the expiration date. I have been trying for 3 weeks, I’ve called Capital One and they’re saying “it’s an Apple issue”. Has anyone encountered this before and figured out a work around?
