Does anyone have more information on this Chassepot style bayonet?

There are no markings left on the quillon or the blade. The mortise is marked "11". Sadly, the muzzle ring has broken off due to corrosion. It has a long and thick cruciform blade. Never seen anything like it. Experimental bayonet?
