Pro Photographer looking for guidance
After ten years hoisting huge Canon lenses over my shoulder I need shoulder surgery. No big surprise really. I’ve enjoyed trudging for miles on end with the 16 pound set up but everything comes to an end. I no longer shoot professionally and really want a light, optical zoom camera good enough for bird and wildlife ID. I have more than enough images to print. This is more for documenting rare birds for eBird reviewers and maybe posting online or sharing with other birders. What else should I be looking at besides Nikon’s Coolpix 1000?
