Threatened by a homeless man close to Steelhaven Fivepoints

Hey guys, so I am still pretty new to the five points area and just had a really scary experience with a homeless man coming from the alley way I between steelhaven and tower on tenth. It was on the back side close to the park. Does any have any advice on being safer it was almost really bad and now I'm worried to go to my car.
