Robo investors for Bogleheading?
Hi y’all. Happy to discover this sub. I’m curios how many of you select your own index funds / bonds vs use a service like Betterment or even Vanguards own robo investor.
I’ve had good success with Betterment (7 years) and have some money with a friend at Edward Jones (mainly for the free tax advice I get for keeping some money with him).
I began my investing years with the Boglehead mindset of set it and forget it and hope for an average 7% over the long run - which has happily been my experience.
However, I’m now 41. Have 200k invested and really want to maximize my passive investment strategy as I plan to save more and more in the coming decade. But I don’t want is the anxiety around “did I pick the right funds, allocate correctly” etc.
So my question is: what’s the best platform / approach for someone like me who doesn’t want to actually pick funds, but does value the buy and hold low cost funds Boglehead approach.
Any thoughts or advice is much appreciated!
