Would you ever go back with them?

Lets say 5-10 years have passed since the breakup. Would you reconsider going back to them, what if you thought they were the one? Also how do you brush or forget someone so easy. Idk if it was because she was the love of my life but it feels like a part of her is imprinted into my heart my soul or mind whatever you want to call it. Maybe im getting nostalgic but i will always wish i ended with her. Its like we ended up together in every life except this one, the one that matters.
