Low volume on bookshelf speakers through AMP/DAC

I got the fosi audio k5 pro as a gift and thought I could buy cheap bookshelf speakers (Dayton b452)

So I got them and plugged them into the DAC/AMP through RCA (I ordered a new cable with an RCA connector), and I can hear the sound from my PC but it's really quiet. Windows 10 volume is maxed and the volume knob on the DAC is maxed too and is still too low

Did I pick the wrong combinations? Or a faulty wire/RCA?
