My Audio Setup – £500 Over the Last Year. Thoughts and recommendations?

I’ve put together my current audio setup over the last year or so, spending around £500 in total. I didn’t have a fixed budget. I’m not specifically looking for advice, but I’d love to hear your thoughts, opinions, or any suggestions for possible changes.

My Setup

Speakers:

-Bowers & Wilkins Original 686 Loudspeakers

-Placed on unbranded stands I picked up from eBay.

-The speakers are bi-wired with QED X25 cables I cut striped and braided them myself.

Amplifier and inputs;

-WiiM Streaming Amplifier

-Technics SL-PJ37A CD Transport, Used for my growing CD collection, connected via optical cable to the integrated DAC in the amplifier.

-HDMI eARC for input from the TV, for films and streaming from YouTube Music.

All of this is set up in a low-ceiling loft/attic room, so space is not ideal I have no acoustic treatment. I’ve tried playing around with speaker placement, but the room limits options. My Listening Position is around 2 meters away from the speakers, centered between them.
