Should I or shouldn't I?

Is it a bad sign if the woman has to initiate the first date? Will it be a turn off? We've been chatting for 2 weeks and we've hinted around going out, but nothing concrete and it's a little frustrating. He's in his 40s and I'm in my 30s. Does he just need more time to get to know me?

Thanks everyone for the advice. I decided to go for it because I rarely meet people that check 80% of my boxes, usually it's like 30-40%. It worked out, we went out tonight and had a really good time, probably the best date I've been on in a while. I have put him on notice that the next date is all on him. I am cautiously optimistic.
