Gulf of America on Google Maps: Alternatives to Google and American Tech Companies

Since Google Maps has renamed the Gulf of Mexico to "Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)", I'm starting to get a bit nervous about how much I rely on American tech companies on a daily basis. I knew Elon Musk was a bit deranged, but I never would have guessed how quickly Meta and Google seem to be falling in line with this administration. Somehow switching the main tech companies I interact with and store my data in seems to the most daunting and difficult part of changing my consumer habits though. Has anyone put any thoughts into whether migrating from Meta and Google is an overreaction or something that is justified? Does anyone have any suggestions of alternative sources for the services provided by these companies? Specially it would be nice to have a plan in place for alternative companies to use for bailing on Google Maps, Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Docs, and Gmail. I can't decide if it's an overreaction or not, but I thought it might be time to start thinking about it.
