NMIMS Biased?

I have made a mistake. To give NMAT!! Being a non engineer(2yrs exp), I thought I would give NMAT and focus on quant more. Gave 5 months of full time preparation. And guess what I cleared the last year cutoff!!(240+)

But the dreams have shattered. Even after giving a fairly good competency test and their AI interview, I could not convert even NMIMS navi mumbai. Waitlisted for all the programs! What frustrates me more is that those with 220 score have converted. Where is the fair evaluation? If there is a merit list, atleast let us know what is the final score and how did you evaluate that. On the other hand, I have also noticed that the faculty in the interview asks about the background what the parents do and then judge whether to take the student. If that is the case, why doesnt the college select only on the basis of money.

I have wasted my time, my effort, and money for the college. Whatever happened this year was really disappointing!
