Diet change
At the minute we feed our kittens (11 month male and 10 month female) whiskas junior wet food 3 times a day, but I've just looked at the ingredients and they don't seem great - 36% meat, and then cereals, oils, sugar.
I am thinking of swapping them to Applaws (I live in Europe so I'm not sure if this is sold everywhere). Ingredients seem much better - for the chicken variety there is 75% chicken, 24% chicken broth and 1% rice.
Surely this seems a lot better right?
It is a bit more expensive, so feeding our cats the same quantity of this food as we are with whiskas would be out of our budget. Instead I am thinking of them having this new food twice a day, morning and night, and then dry food during the day (potentially with added water to bump up their water intake). In my opinion it sounds better to feed them the higher quality food but only twice a day compared to the lower quality 3 times a day?
They also have a water fountain and water in a bowl because I can't figure out what they like best, so they have both.
They also have tuna around twice a week for a treat meal.

What do you think of this swap I'm thinking about? I Just want some reassurances what I'm thinking is right and any advice! :)
