Pumpkin Pies
So just wanted to put this out there because I don’t know what the other locations are like when it comes to pumpkin pie season. My location is pretty crazy and we get plenty of people at the entrance of the bakery asking about pumpkin pies. So first off, the pies take about an hour from the crusts coming out of the fridge to being cooked on the racks, getting cooled enough, sprayed, packaged, labelled and then wheeled out to the table. If you come to us seeing the table for the pies is empty, odds are you will get an estimated time of around an hour or so, and no we don’t have ones that are frozen, they are made and sold fresh almost every time. Second, if you need more than five pies - have seen people take six from the table before - I recommend coming to us and filling out an order form, especially if you want the pies for an event, then you can pick them up later on, and don’t have to make a ton of room in a freezer. Third, pies aren’t just first come, first served, they are a waiting game. If you leave to go do something after learning how long the pies will take, it’s probably a safe bet to wait or have someone wait so they can get a pie. We often say it’s an hour but some times it can be 45 minutes or the person telling you is giving a rough estimate. When the tables are empty they often get snatched up before they can even make it to the tables. I genuinely appreciate anyone and everyone’s patience. I promise we are doing our best and going as fast as we can to get pies out. I thank you for your understanding.
