A jury wouldn't convict a proven murderer?

Roy's Cain Velasquez's take yesterday, about a jury not convicting a guy of murder if he was proven to have committed that murder is knee-jerk Roy in a nutshell.

Yes, I think the jury would justify that murder and I would hope that the judge sentencing Cain would take that into account when issuing that sentence, but to say that the jury wouldn't convict him is Roy going to the extreme like he does anytime he hears the name of a politician that he doesn't agree with,
