Ambessa vs Aura (Acrane/League of Legends vs Frieren: Beyond Journeys End) | "Chained to Scales"

Thumbnail

Connections:

  • Powerful antagonists/villains who are connected to a powerful heroine when they were younger (Ambessa is Mel's mother and Aura faced Frieren when she was with the Hero Party, respectively), they would attempt to take over a area to get an advantage over others (Ambessa wanted Piltover's weapons and Aura wanted Graf Granat's Domain to gain more land, respectively).
  • To help them with their take over they would someone to take care of others who would get away of their plans (Maddie who was a noxus spy who watched Caitlyn and Draht who was suppose to kill Frieren, respectively), but they were killed rather quickly (Mel protected Caitlyn causing a bullet to ricochet into Maddie's head and Frieren cut Draht's head off, respectively).
  • They would bring along their own personal armies to help them with their missions, they would attempt to manipulate others into giving them what they want (Ambessa tried to use Caitlyn to help her and Aura used Lügner to manipulate & scare Graf Granat, respectively), they would eventually prove to be unsuccessful with their endeavors (Caitlyn betrayed Ambessa and Graf would rather die than help them, respectively).
  • Both come from a group/race of powerful people/creatures who are known for their ruthlessness (Noxians and Demons, respectively), they would have a high rank in their respective groups (Ambessa was a noxian general and Aura was one of the Seven Sages, respectively).
  • With their armies they had someone that was loyal to them that would be sent to attack others (Rictus and Lügner, respectively), they had a powerful magic/weapon that gave them a powerful edge on specific opponents (Rictus's spear had ruins which negated magic and Lügner blood magic was good against melee fighters, respectively), they would eventually face someone who is/was close to the main heroes (Rictus fought Warwick and Lügner fought Fern, respectively), their fight would cost them their lives.
  • They would attempt to complete their hostile takeover with their armies, some of the people in their armies are connected to where they taking over (Ambessa's monsters have drugs that were given to her by singed and some of the armors from Aura's army were from the people of the land, respectively), despite their immense armies and their power, the person that they knew would use a trump card killing them (Mel let Le Blonc to take out Ambessa and Frieren used Aura's spell against her, respectively).

Fight Potential: This works best as an Army fight with Ambessa's private military vs Aura's armored warriors & her demons. Ambessa with her army can attempt to take over a part of the land that Aura inhabits causing a fight to ensue, Aura with her wide army lets them charge at the Noxians, anyone who gets close to Aura has the fate of becoming her next armored fighter. Ambessa similarly to her fight in the beginning of the war against Piltover would use her gauntlets to cut through everyone in her path. Killing her own men to get to Aura. Aura's demons fighting as well, being able to handle nearly everyone, including the monsters that Ambessa has, a fight between Rictus and either Linie or Lügner ensues to protect their respective leaders.

That one Debate chart thing

Debate: The debate is similar to Joker vs Giorno. Ambessa vs Aura by themselves is not debatable, Aura loses hard in a one-on-one. But in an army setting (Giorno getting Requiem as an example), the debate becomes closer. Aura now gains more advantages over Ambessa, her magic can increase her army by turning the Noxian soldiers into her soldiers, her demons outpowers a good chunk of Ambessa's army. Ambessa has the advantage of her runes that were from Rictus, they can likely counter the spells uses sense the ruins resist magic. Despite that, with their armies on each of their sides, I believe Aura has a good chance at winninh.
