Is one day per park enough to do everything

We are going to take our first trip to Disneyland, hopefully the first week in December. We do the other parks across the country parks a couple of times a year so have a good idea on how multi pass and stuff works.

But if we plan 2 park days, one for Disneyland and one for California Adventure, are we cutting ourselves short?

We're looking at maybe adding premier pass to ensure we get to do most things.

Even though we've done the Star Wars rides in at the other parks we want to do them in Disneyland too.

So, one park in one day possible?
