The Disney Blues
Maybe it’s just my pregnancy hormones talking…but I get so frustrated with the prices continuing to go up and up and up. My husband and I wanted to take our 4 year old on a trip before our second baby comes and no matter what “deals” we try to snag or what we do to try and streamline expenses, it seems like Disneyland is getting further and further out of reach for regular people who don’t have an extra $7k laying around for a 3 or 4 day trip. The world feels so crazy right now and anyone who loves Disneyland knows what a wonderful, joyful little bubble it is for those few days where the outside world doesn’t matter. It stings to think families have to go into so much debt or skip the magical vacations all together because of the insane increase in ticket and hotel pricing. Just wanted to write this message for any parent who feels the same and wishes they could give their kids a magical trip but can’t for whatever reason: I see you and I hope you get your Disney magic one way or another in the near future. And even if you can’t, you’re still a wonderful parent and create magic for your kids in so many other ways, everyday- I’m sure of it. ❤️
