Dogs are such a nuisance when you're outside walking
I was out walking today when I spotted a dog running; there was a guy behind the dog also running. Initially, I felt annoyed about having to cross the street, but when I looked up again the dog and its owner were gone. They turned on a street that a park is located on, so I just figured they were going through the park. A couple of minutes later I get to the park, I see the dog isn't on a leash, and the owner is chasing it and they leave the park, going up the street I take to finish my walk.
As I'm walking, I spot a guy in his truck pulling over and trying to help the guy catch his unruly shitbeast, but they're unable to, so the man in the truck leaves and wishes him luck on catching the mutt. I'm right by them, and I realize it's a teenager who isn't even wearing any shoes since I'm guessing he didn't have time to put them on when he went to catch his mutt. He told me to watch out, that she bites. In my head, I was thinking how irresponsible it is for them to have a dog that's either escaping from an insecure yard or they're just careless and leaving their door wide open allowing this dangerous animal to loose on the neighborhood.
The dog didn't get closer to me, nor did it even act as it was about to attack, but this isn't the first time I've encountered idiots with unleashed dogs. A couple years ago, there was a loose large dog that began growling at me at the same park - it seemingly belonged to a group of men that were there, chatting happily away and oblivious to how they were endangering others. And just last week, there was another guy with a dog that was leashed, but he wasn't holding the leash and the dog got close to me and made me uncomfortable. Dog nutters are so irresponsible and they have no regard for others or the law. It's so infuriating.
