The Consequences of Farming for Pro Servers
lol just wanted to make the title seem like an academic article. but anyways,
i’ve noticed that pro servers aren’t very “pro” anymore. it’s gotten to a point where it’s very obvious who farmed for their rank vs spent more time in the game. and with this, comes the mentality of where there’s not much voting going on. partially because the “newer” pro server people aren’t voting (bc that’s very normal on regular servers) and partially bc the more advanced players aren’t going to vote for a basic outfit. when i first started playing on pro servers a few months ago, 1st place had AT LEAST 25 stars. now a lot of 1st place winners only have 14. it’s not as much fun when a lot of people’s pro outfits don’t get the credit they deserve. and im not even talking about myself, but i see soooo many good players with 6th place with a basic fit winning IN A PRO SERVER!
granted, many of these are “runway queens” and i was veryyyy humbled when i first started playing pro servers. but now i see a lot of trend setters and even a few runway divas having poor fits. with the way the game works, even bad players are bound to end up in pro servers with how everyone gets stars no matter what.
does anyone else have this problem? i don’t really know much of a solution anyways. there would be a ton of backlash if the pro server star requirement got raised.
at the end of the day, it is a kid’s game with the majority of players being children. this is another reason why i wish there could be 18+ servers, as older people i’ve played with tend to be more skilled.
attached are some pictures from a pro round (like girl, you just put the mannequin on😭)
