Student slapped me

Hi so I’m looking for some advice.

I am a teacher and recently one of my students has become well mean and aggressive is the best way to describe it. This child is hitting, not in a light manner either. Like the hits are in a “I want to hurt you” type of way. Back story for context: I have a disability, I disclosed this disability in my interview therefore my boss knows about it. It does not affect me as much now as it has in the past.

So today this child slapped me across my back and neck and arm. It caused me so much pain I actually started crying my eyes out. I had a small quick flair up of symptoms. But my need for advice comes from, if I can’t get this pain managed by night time and do have to go to the hospital do I need to tell my job and the parent of said child who caused it? How to do I tell the parent that their child is physically causing severe harm to me and other students with the force of the slaps and hits.
