are token copies overkill?
a very broad title but my question is actually about my deck specifically.
im making a polymorph deck with [[malcolm, keen-eyed navigator]] and [[kediss, emberclaw familiar]] .
i use a 2mana land to play malcolm turn 2, i play kediss turn 3, then use a [[polymorph]] spell, sacrificing kediss and i find [[auton soldier]] since he is the only creature in the 99.
auton soldier is a clone card with myriad which bypasses the legend rule, when he enters i clone him into malcolm, when he attacks he makes 2 copies of himself thanks to myriad.
this means when i attack on turn 4 i’ll have 4 attacking malcolm’s. assuming all of them hit thats 16 treasures, then 2 more triggers from kediss making another 8, so 24 treasures.
now to my question (TLDR), if attacking already makes me 24 treasures, is it worth it to copy auton for an extra 18 treasures for each copy (i think that math is right).
or am i better off running draw/interaction/finishers with the deckspace clones would take since its overkill? or is it worth it for the mana & damage?
