How to make a "fun" deck
I am trying to come up with a deck that is genuinely fun. Commander Der, to me, has a myriad of flaws. The games are long, people get mana screwed, people build with little regard of the experience of others, power levels are a mess, there's always feel bads in the game, etc etc.
Trying to fix a game within the game is inefficient, however I would like to make a deck that can create a good experience. I don't need to win, but i don't want to flounder.
I enjoy dealing combat damage but I don't want to take someone out early. I want to speed up the game and not take long turns. Maybe something that does life drain or go wide? Maybe something like [[Gluntch]] seems good for a go tall deck and can help out players who are lagging behind. Is it better to play something durable and can help others when they're stuck or something that hurts everyone evenly like [[valgavoth, narrower of souls]]?
I know basic rhetoric of playing fast and not being salty help everyone have a good game, but I also want to push the game forward without creating too many feel bads
Any suggestions?
