How to memorize vocabulary？

As stated in the title. When I was talking with someone in English, I always feel that my vocabulary is really poor. I'm really not good at memorizing any new vocabularies. To be honest，I'm lazy to memorize.... How can I change it? Is anyone have a good advise to improve ?
