Where to put ~35k usd?

My dad just gave me 35k usd and I’m planning to invest it all. I’m currently 30 years old and I’m looking at a somewhat mildly aggressive portfolio. In addition, I plan to invest around 500 dollars a month and rebalance monthly as well. This is my first time really taking my stock investments seriously so i’d be more than happy to take on any advice. What to do and how to sustain this until i’m 55 or 60.

Currently my portfolio is just 5 grand on VTI and never really did anything more. So need some advice on the 35 i just got.
