What’s the weather like and what do you recommend bringing for visitors?

My partner and I will be staying in Edmonton this weekend and I was wondering if anyone can give a heads up on what’s the weather like (or might be like). I saw it’ll be sunny with some clouds so somewhat nice weather(?) but looking through the recent posts I also see some snow 👀

We’re coming from Vancouver so the cold isn’t foreign to us, but since it’s only a 4-day trip we aren’t bringing a lot and I want to make sure we’re prepared for the weather (eg proper shoes/ boots). It’ll be our first time and I’m super excited. Also open to recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing, or things to do. Budget friendly pls 😊
