Strange Occurrence in Auriza Hero’s Grave

I’m just curious if anyone else has experienced something like this?

I died a few times in this place to the chariot, falling, or to fire. On my fourth try or so, as I ran to the second chariot portion where there are two chariots going back and forth in two lanes, (just where there’s a stoneword key) before I was about make the run for it - I got all the “new items” notifications and basically had suddenly acquired Ash of War: Holy Ground, Tree Sentinel Helm, Armor, Gauntlets, and Greaves. Just randomly. Now i have defeated a few tree sentinels previously. But why the sudden equipment pickup in the middle of this?

Also, the chariots disappeared altogether. Gone. I went from trying to time my runs to walking through the place.
