Epic needs to update the chat feature again.. At least for save the world

I was trying to tell a guy that we had metal corrosion on but i think the chat closes too fast, people don't have time to read and it sucks since save the world can get very communication heavy at times. We lost of course and all i could hear was he sighing in the voice chat. I tried to tell him over on voice chat too but it was too late as we had basically already lost. So if epic could just make the chat always be displayed that would be nice.
