Overall increase once sold

Has anyone come across this where they've sold a player and their overall has rocketed!? I had Antwoine Hackford, who was 83 OVR @ 23 Years old, when I sold him for 55m. When looking back at my Transfers he is now 94 OVR Valued at £225m, still at 23... Anyone else had the same thing before?
