Any recourse for being misled by sellers?

Hello,

My wife and I recently purchased our first home. Long story short, the sellers intentionally withheld information about the home regarding the safety and legality of the electrical situation. I'm wondering if there is any recourse for us now that we're facing quotes for electrical repair and rewiring for $15-40k?

If you're wondering how we know the sellers intentionally misled us on this, I ended up connecting with an electrician who actually provided a quote for the same repair a year ago to the former owners...
