The Calamity
So after rereading the manga and rewatching the anime; chapter 25 Stark discovers the sword is still stuck in its place, and the Himmel carries a replica. That the sword will only be drawn by the hero that will drive away the calamity, and Stark is poised right in the back of her as she says this. It brings me to this page I believe chapter 80 something where we meet one of the other seven sages, Tot who is aptly named Saint of the End.
Actually I don’t think she is a sage, but like Soltaire a greater demon. Tot in German means “Dead”, and in figurative German language one can often say, "tot und begraben" which means "dead and buried". Sort of opposite of how we meet her as she values her life, and chooses to run away from the conflict; still she does however plan on ending everything somehow?
We don’t know too much about her, her motives, or her magical ability, but what we do know is that her “curse” is slowly enveloping the entire planet. lol not just the cities, or the country, but the entire planet! One can only speculate where dealing with “zombies” potentially, but it got me thinking that the sword is more than likely the obvious chekov’s gun that could potentially undue all of this right!
