Why Bangladesh is cozing up with Pakistan

Bangladesh and Pakistan are getting close these days. Can anyone explain why? Pakistan has nothing to give Bangaladesh. It's ahead of Pakistan in every sphere. What's the logic behind such moves by Dhaka despite the fact that Pakistan butchered Bangladesh. Unlike, India, Pakistan, having good relations with UK was important for engaging on the world sphere considering how advanced and developed UK was. But, what's with Pakistan. It can't give Bangaladesh anything. It hasn't even apologized for its crimes. But, still government in Dhaka is so keen on deepening ties with Islamabad. Why is it so? If Bangladesh want tech, investments, factories, manufacturing units, they have China, Russia, West Asia, South East Asia, US, The West, etc etc. There is literally 0 need for warm relationship with Pakistan. People say it's all about self interest of the nation, what's the interest in this? Feels like having good relations with Pakistan has no benefits. Anyone can explain this?
